advancedlife is a national photographic company specialising in School Photography for 40 years. We are seeking energetic and enthusiastic people to join our busy photographic team in our SA Branch located in Thebarton.
We service schools across the whole of South Australia
We are looking for people interested to be trained as group and portrait photographers and photographic assistants. These in-the-field roles require both working independently and as part of the team. All equipment, training and uniforms are supplied. .
These casual positions will be 3 to 5 days work per week, with time off during and around school holidays
The successful candidates will:
- Enjoy working with children of all ages
- Enjoy working outside an office environment!
- Be warm and friendly
- Be organised and reliable
- Have an eye for detail
- Know how to deliver a great customer experience
- Be energetic and happy working in an active hands-on role and as part of a fun team
- Be an Australian resident with an Australian driving licence and have dependable transport to and from our Black Forest office or be able to drive to jobs directly
- Be available for early starts and to work variable length days (not just school hours)
- Be aware that this is a busy physical role, with standing and lifting involved
- Be able to spend up to 2-4 weeks away from home a couple of times per year, as we also photograph in the NT, and/or a couple of nights away in SA.
The following are desirable.
- A knowledge of photography
- Basic computer knowledge.
You are required to secure your own DSCI and OCHRE clearance to be able to work in the school environment. Details of how to apply will be provided if you are offered the role and your clearance must be in place prior to working at any SA or NT schools.
