The position
The Psychologist plays a crucial role in supporting the social, emotional, and psychological well-being of students, creating a positive and supportive learning environment.
You will also be a part of Inclusive Education responsible for sourcing, developing, overseeing and conducting all relevant academic and intelligence diagnostic and benchmark testing for students in The Hub.
Selection criteria
- Professional qualifications in Psychology enabling professional registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency.
- Familiarity with tests used to measure the academic and cognitive progress of students to ensure that the key processes associated with all learning were measured, including Long-term recall; Processing speed; Working memory and; Executive function.
- The ability to develop positive, professional relationships with staff.
- Well organised and shows initiative.
- Willingness to collaborate effectively with a broad range of key academic and wellbeing staff to enhance student outcomes.
- Professionalism and discretion at all times in relation to confidential matters.
- Flexibility and commitment to the provision of a high standard of professional care.
