The role: At Brisbane Christian College, the Well‐being Counsellor has a significant role in managing students with social and emotional challenges and promoting mental health and well-being.
The Counsellor works collaboratively as part of the Primary School team, supporting the well‐being of the College team and the students. The Counsellor supports and refers for further treatment students who struggle with mental health and related school and/or family issues.

Qualifications: Applicants must be appropriately qualified in the following areas:
- Counselling
- Current membership with an approved Counselling Association
- Current indemnity insurance
- Current Blue Card (Queensland’s Working with Children Check) or QCT Teacher Registration
- Current Teacher Registration would be looked upon favourably.
