We are seeking innovative teachers with a commitment to high standards and positive education practices to join the team.
Responsibilities:
- Direct teaching of groups and individual students
- Develop, implement, and evaluate curriculum programs
- Participate in parent/teacher meetings, staff meetings, camps, and excursions
- Undertake non-teaching supervisory duties
- Engage in critical reflection and inquiry to improve teaching effectiveness
- Contribute to school programs beyond the classroom as experience increases
Skills Required:
- Registered or eligible for registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching
- Knowledge of relevant curriculum, including literacy and numeracy integration
- Experience in planning and implementing high impact teaching strategies
- Ability to monitor and assess student learning using data to inform practice
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience in establishing collaborative relationships with students, parents, colleagues, and the broader community
- Personal attributes: perseverance, humility, collaboration, improvement focus
- Ability to balance high expectations with inclusivity and positive education practices
