Let’s talk about the roles and responsibilities: 
 
Capgemini Engineering is hiring a dynamic and experienced Product Manager to join our Heavy Industry Fast Charger team in Perth. If you have a strong background in product management and a passion for implementing and optimizing Scrum methodologies. 
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain "best practices" Jira boards for both waterfall and Scrum methodologies, supporting both in-person and remote teams.
  • Produce comprehensive “how to” guides in Confluence, including written, visual, and video instructions.
  • Prepare and maintain Confluence templates for sprint ceremonies.
  • Train and coach sprint teams on best practices for creating user stories, ticketing, pointing, and sprint ceremonies.
  • Act as Scrum Master for sprint teams for at least four months to ensure best practices are implemented and followed.
  • Identify and document opportunities for future improvements in Scrum-based development for the program.
  • Record the business value and benefits observed from team training to support management reporting.
  • Present developments, gains, and instructions for new sprint teams at company-wide engineering meetings.
Expected Deliverables:
  • Coaching engineering teams in implementing Scrum-based development processes.
  • Facilitating sprints for engineering teams over continuous months.
  • Creating and managing Jira boards tailored for Scrum-based development.
  • Developing and maintaining Confluence templates for documenting sprint ceremonies.
  • Conducting training and workshop sessions to raise awareness and understanding of Scrum-based product management processes.
  • Providing hands-on training for using Jira boards and Confluence templates for sprint ceremonies.
  • Collecting feedback and suggestions for improvement.
  • Continuously improving the Scrum process and templates based on feedback from engineering teams.
  • Identifying gaps and enhancement areas during rollout.
  • Aligning with changing project requirements and priorities.
  • Providing regular status reports on progress, challenges, and successes.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in product management, particularly within a heavy industry or digital systems context.
  • Strong knowledge and experience with Scrum and Agile methodologies.
  • Proficiency in using Jira and Confluence.
  • Excellent coaching and training skills, with the ability to engage and motivate diverse teams.
  • Strong documentation skills, with the ability to create clear and comprehensive guides.
  • Experience acting as a Scrum Master and facilitating sprint ceremonies.
  • Ability to present complex information clearly and effectively at company-wide meetings.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to continuous improvement.
