Our Federal Government client requires an experienced Scrum Master for an initial 12 month assignment staring ASAP. It is expected you will be an Australian Citizen with a Baseline clearance or have the ability to obtain a Baseline clearance.
Working within the Enterprise Data and Analytics Branch (EDA) you will be accountable for the Branch’s program delivery for multiple EPICS in eD&A modernisation and associated programs of work.
As the Scrum Master you will be required to facilitate Sprint Planning, showcase, team retrospectives and daily scrum, as well as contributing to larger Release Train activities such as system showcases, release train retrospectives, scrum of scrums and PI planning. You will also be responsible for protecting the team and enabling them to fulfil their sprint and PI objectives, as well as working to resolve the various impediments that affect the team throughout the process.
Requirements include but are not limited to:
- Educate others in agile methodologies, techniques, processes and tools and provide coaching, leadership and training in line with agile methodologies
- Accountable to develop comprehensive delivery backlog with top-down planning, efforts estimation and task tracking through DevOps process
- Resourcefully facilitate program delivery using agile practices, processes and tools, including rituals such as sprint planning, scrum meetings, iteration reviews and retrospectives and developing agile artefacts
- Plan, forecast and resource multiple releases at once
- Identify and analyse risks, issues, opportunities, develop and lead change strategies, and monitor outcomes to foster a culture of continuous improvement
- Design and implement agile operating working models and strategies based on localised context and requirement
Required skills & experience:
- Relevant Scrum Maser qualifications/certification/accreditation
- SFIA 6 Scrum Master Experience

- Working arrangements: This role requires to have the flexibility to be in the office at least 3 to 4 days. Work from home arrangement can be discussed with the Business Area.
