We have a diverse and proud heritage combined with a track record for delivering the best outcomes for our clients and the communities in which we operate.In partnership with the Australian Defence Force, Ventia are currently seeking a Seamsperson to join the team at the East Sale RAAF Base, supporting our National Clothing Stores Services (NCSS) contract.This is a full-time role working Monday - Friday.Reporting to the Site Leader, you will be an essential member of our stores and warehousing team working along customer services, stores and tailoring professionals that support Ventia's Defence National Clothing Store Services contract.Benefits:

Key Responsibilities:

• Measure and fit customers for clothing items
• Perform duties of sewing ranks, insignia, and badges to Defence specification
• Sewing duties including hemming, alterations, and Medal mounting
• Customer service and record keeping of customer orders
• Use of computer systems

Key Skills & Attributes:

• Experience in hand stitch and sewing machine clothing alterations.
• Basic computing skills
• Experience using heavy duty sewing machines - Desirable
• Experience working in a team/Customer Service environment - Desirable
• High attention to detail, accuracy, and time management
• Scheduling workloads and meeting production deadlines
