Position Overview:
  • Position: Experienced Domestic Projects Plumber
  • Expected work hours: Flexible 40 hours per week (plus OT)
  • Wage: $35 - $45 per hour plus incentives (see below)

Attributes and Qualifications:

  • Journeyman Plumber (certificate 3 Plumbing/gas/draining minimum)
  • Full drivers license
  • Experience in residential projects, such as bathroom, laundry and kitchen renovations, with in depth knowledge of plumbing, gas fitting and drainage systems and products
  • Experience in maintenance plumbing is a bonus
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • A team player
  • Able to follow instructions, systems and processes
  • Able to use job management software
  • Commitment to safety in the workplace
  • Excellent leadership abilities, training and mentoring junior plumbers
  • No criminal convictions
Responsibilities:
  • Turn up to work at the correct time
  • Be well presented in our provided uniforms
  • Keep company vehicle clean and tidy
  • Provide excellent customer service, including being polite, friendly and empathetic towards our customers
  • Follow direct instructions for jobs, and provide clear feedback and job notes as required
  • Follow our Gold Standards for all work completed
  • Perform complex plumbing installations, repairs, and maintenance tasks in residential, commercial, and industrial settings
  • Supervise and provide guidance to a growing team of plumbers and apprentices, ensuring Gold Standard workmanship and adherence to safety standards
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing systems to identify issues, such as leaks, blockages, or faulty components, and recommend appropriate solutions
  • Oversee plumbing projects from start to finish, including planning, estimating materials and resources needed, and ensuring timely completion within budget
  • Mentor and train apprentice/junior plumbers, sharing your expertise and providing support to enhance their skills and knowledge in plumbing
  • Ensure compliance with Australian Standards, regulations, and safety standards, and maintain accurate documentation of work performed
  • Collaborate and communicate effectively with clients, building owners, contractors, and other trades to address their plumbing needs and deliver excellent customer service
  • Stay updated with industry advancements, new technologies, and best practices in plumbing through continuous professional development
  • Supply of own complete ‘Tools of Trade’ required to complete plumbing tasks (doesn’t include press tool, shovels ect)
