About the Role:
- We are looking for an exceptional candidate who can take on the challenge of being Second in Charge
- Assist in managing the day to day operations of the service in line with company policies, procedures and targets
- Assist in maintaining and improving service A&R rating
- Develop a positive and engaging community presence
- Provide leadership, support and guidance to staff and students as needed
- Develop a positive, cohesive work environment for all staff
- Deliver an innovative and high-quality early childhood program for children that reflects current theory, practice and the values and philosophies of Heritage House Childcare and Early Learning Centres.
- Monitor and document children’s development and progress through a diverse range of methods that reflect the principles of the Early Years Learning Framework.
- Ensure the service is compliant with all Centre policies, State Legislation and National Quality Standards
- Ensure Health & Safety standards are always maintained in line with Company standards
Required experience:
- A minimum of 2 years experience in the role (preferred)
- Bachelor of Early Childhood Education or Hold a Diploma in Children Services
- A current Working with Children’s Check and valid First Aid, Child Protection.
- Extensive knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS) and Rating and Assessment process
- Strong experience creating and maintaining a Centre Quality Improvement Program
- Extensive experience within the Early Childhood sector
- Team player
- Excellent communication, leadership and management skills
- Highly organised and ability to multi-task
