The CampusThe OneSchool Global Mt Victoria Campus is nestled atop a mountain plateau, conveniently on the Great Western Highway. As the westernmost village in the region, it is perfectly positioned to serve the upper mountains and Lithgow. The campus boasts a unique charm that complements its mountainous surroundings. Our advanced facilities and vibrant learning spaces are equipped with state-of-the-art educational technology, creating an innovative and future-proof learning environment. With a total of 89 students from Years 3 through 12, the campus offers an intimate and personalized educational experience.
The PositionCommencing January 2024, our welcoming Mt Victoria team is seeking an experienced HSIE teacher to join them on a permanent full-time basis. This role will include teaching 7-10 Geography & History, and Stage 5 Commerce. The ability to teach Stage 6 Business Studies and Economics would also be an advantage.
Skills & ExperienceThe successful candidate will have an excellent understanding of the NSW Curriculum and Syllabus. You must be a registered teacher by the NSW Educational Standards Authority (NESA) have relevant teaching and tertiary qualifications and hold a current Working with Children Check (WWCC).
You will need to be comfortable stepping away from traditional classroom teaching practices, to embrace modern teaching methods and technologies including video conferencing and online resources.
