About the Opportunity:

We are looking for the industry’s best Waitstaff and Runners to join our team to deliver an unforgettable experience for our guests. Coordinate and communicate a multitude of elements within the restaurant. You will be guest focused and bring a charismatic approach to your work. 

Main Role Responsibilities:

• Ensure exceptional guest service, from the moment a guest walks in, to the moment they leave
• Greet & seat guests, taking orders, delivering food and drinks to the table
• Demonstrate knowledge of food & wine and genuine interest for hospitality
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of station and service areas at all times
• Proactively carry out any other duties as instructed by Crew Leaders

Experience, Skills & Attributes:

• Experience as a Section Waitstaff in a high volume, premium restaurant advantageous
• Demonstrated experience in exceeding guest expectations
• Adaptable and able to multi-task effectively
• Strong work ethic and a "can do" attitude
• Outgoing personality and genuine interest in the day to day operations
• Able and willing to work a rotating roster including weekend, public holiday, opening and closing shifts

A creative tribute to the corruptible side of Japanese cuisine, Yakimono is an exuberant inner-urban Japanese eating house in the heart of the CBD.  The colourful and high energy Yakimono joined the LUCAS family in late 2021 in the newly developed 80 Collins precinct, next to the two Hat Society Restaurant.
