We are seeking an experienced team member to process applications for Hardship including full assessment and approval.

In addition to working in the Hardship space you will also assist in the day to day Collections.
- Responsible for initial conversations with customers regarding hardship and payment arrangements
- Receipt of and processing hardship applications and approval process
- Updating arrangements in core banking system
- Responsible for assisting with arrears from day 1 onwards
- Reviewing arrears reports daily
- Contacting borrowers directly to advise of overdue amounts and ascertaining reason for late repayment
- Setting up/amending direct debit payments in the banking system
- Working with borrowers to bring accounts back into order as quickly as possible
- Liaising with borrowers to ensure payment arrangements are met
- Helping borrowers navigate their home loan by answering queries regarding their account to reduce further arrears where possible
- Instructing solicitors where required for accounts >30 days and following these matters through until finalised
- Completing Arrears reports to Manager on a regular basis
Positions like this do not come along often.

- Certificate IV in Finance will be beneficial
