Security Guards - NV1/NV2Security Guards - NV1/NV2Whizdom is in exclusive partnership with a top-tier security company, seeking Security Guards with all levels of security clearance for permanent full-time opportunities.Role Responsibilities:

• Monitoring and patrolling designated areas to detect and prevent unauthorized activities.
• Controlling access to the site by verifying identification and issuing visitor passes.
• Responding to alarms and incidents, and reporting suspicious activities to the appropriate authorities.
• Conducting security checks and inspections to maintain a secure environment.
• Providing excellent customer service while enforcing security protocols and regulations.
• Maintaining accurate logs and records of security activities and incidents.

Mandatory Requirements:

• Current Baseline/NV1 or NV2 clearance
• Current security license
• Current driver's license
• Current first aid certificate
• Experience in using computers, Teams, email, and calendar
• Sound written and verbal communication skills

Highly Desired Qualifications:

• Experience using the Gallagher access control system
• Experience issuing, controlling, and monitoring access passes
• Experience using Type 1 SAS and providing appropriate response
• Experience using Milestone CCTV network over multiple sites
• Experience using handheld metal detectors/wands
• Experience using walk-by metal detectors
• Minimum 2 years as a security officer
• Experience in key safe management
• Ability to assist with warden duties
• Experience in reception and administration duties
• Understanding of the Australian Government's Protective Security Policy Framework (PSPF)
