About the role.
We are searching for a full time Security Operations Engineer to join our organisation in either of our Gordon NSW or Southport QLD offices.
The Security Operations Engineerwill report to the Chief Information Security Officer and oversee and manage the security across the oranisation along with being responsible for:
- Monitor, maintain and configure firewalls / L2 switching and wireless networks.
- Remote access and VPN.
- Endpoint security management.
- Authentication and identity management.
- Collaborate with the network and VMWare teams.
- Monitor threat intelligence sources for exploit affecting the company assets.
- Monitor incidents though the SIEM management.
- Participate in the incident response process lifecycle.
- Monthly Reporting
- Vulnerability scans, patch management.
- Assist others with troubleshooting of IT issues related to IT.
What makes you ideal for this role?
- Minimum 5 years of post-qualification experience working with NG Firewalls.
- Excellent knowledge of Windows Server, Linux and Azure log structure
- Experience with Azure AD / Entra ID
- Experience with Fortigates / Fortimanager
- Experience with industry recognized SIEM platforms (Splunk, Sentinel…)
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience with Windows and Linux OS administration and installation.
- Azure AD administration experience
- AWS security and networking
- Fluent communication (written and verbal) in English.
- IPv4 / IPv6 networking
- Ability to take ownership during incident response and ensure a timely remediation.
