Constant Security is now hiring for positions at the Sydney Opera House.

We have a variety of positions available.

Operational Support Officers (OSO’s)

This role is critical to the safety and security of the Opera House and its visitors. OSO’s are trained to support all functions of the security team and operate 24/7. Extensive training is provided and successful applicants must be able to work on a rotational day / night roster across the week to fulfill the requirements of the role. Full shifts of 8-12 hrs are available. 

Venue Security Officers

Put on your best black suit, polish the shoes and join the team supporting one of the many internal venues inside the Opera House. Great customer service is a definite requirement of this job and officers will be trained in screening and search procedures and all aspects of venue security operations. Shifts are available 7 days pers week.

Event Security Officers

Join the team and work at all the big events that occur at the Opera House from the Forecourt Concerts and Performances through to New Years Eve and Australia Day. There is no better place to work and we are seeking staff with excellent communication and customer service skills with a definite eye for detail and situational awareness. The Opera House has a variety of events throughout the year and successful applicants will form part of a key team of officers to fill these roles as required.

Applicants are required to possess the following:

• NSW Security Officer Licence Class 1A 
• Current First Aid certificate/CPR
• Current RSA
• Drivers Licence 
• WWCC
• Excellent communication and report writing skills
