The opportunity
Our members services team assess the member needs, provide tailored recommendations, and confirm installation and service bookings to ensure seamless integration before you even step foot on site!
As a Security System Technician at RAC, you'll be an integral part of our installation and service team, responsible for bringing out state-of-the-art security solutions to life. Your primary focus will be attending pre quoted residential sites installing, configuring and maintaining a wide range of Security Systems, including surveillance cameras, alarms, CCTV, monitoring equipment and more.
Key Responsibilities:
Install and configure Security Systems, ensuring they meet industry standards and customer specifications.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during installations and post-installation maintenance.
Conduct service and maintenance visit for customers requiring additional services.
Collaborate with customers to educate them on system functionality and operation.
Work closely with the team to coordinate installations, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
Stay up-to-date with the latest security technology trends and advancements.
Qualifications and Skills:
Proven experience in Security System installation and maintenance.
Strong technical proficiency in working with various Security System components.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Effective communication and customer service abilities.
C Class drivers licence
Relevant certifications and licenses in Security System installation (preferred but not mandatory).
