Security Technician Trainee

About the role

On of South Australia's most established and reputable electronic security providers is seeking someone with a strong technical background as a TraineeSecurity Technician in a full time position. A suitable applicant would have a background in IT and/or telecommunication or electrical with a good work ethic, positive attitude and enthusiasm for installing electronic security.   

Remuneration would be provided by an approved Enterprise Agreement or negotiated through an Individual Flexibility Agreement and includes:

• Above Award Salary based of skills and experience
• Above award allowances
• Wage advancement levels
• TOIL
• Overtime
• Fully maintained company vehicle, with fuel card and fully kitted out with stock, equipment and all the most modern test equipment needed.
• Company iPhone, iPad, laptop computer,
• Full uniform and PPE
• Company specific training internal Tech Standards, Standard Operating Procedures and QA.

Qualifications and attributes

The following credentials or capabilities would be beneficial for the applicant:

• South Australian Drivers Licence
• South Australian Security Agents Licence
• Open Cabling Registration
• Electrical/Electronics
• IT/Networking
• DCSI Clearance
• White Card

• Good computer skills including MS Office
• Good problem solving skills
• Good understanding of Data, LAN & WAN IP Network configuration
