This federal government department is looking to fill various evaluation/analyst roles responsible for assessing and developing the program that contributes to the wellbeing of families and communities in Australia.

About the role:

Support communities in Australia by, engaging, partnering, developing, and delivering initiatives to:

• disrupt and tackle entrenched disadvantage,
• improve social and economic participation in communities,
• help build inclusive, cohesive, and resilient communities,
• improve the government's awareness and capability in partnering with communities,
• close the gap on disadvantage of our First Nation people, through actions within the portfolio.

About you:

• have the ability to contribute and/or lead high-performing teams,
• have good stakeholder, interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work with a diverse range of stakeholders,
• have a proven ability to maintain a culture of collaboration in the pursuit of achieved results,
• are a problem solver with the know how to turn the ideas into actions that respond to challenges, with an understanding of how to responsibly engage and manage risk,
• have strategic and environmental awareness and ability to drive an evidence-based policy agenda with strong strategic and analytical skills,
• achieves results in a complex policy development and program delivery context,
• have personal drive and integrity, a strong work ethic, ability to work independently and thrive in dynamic and changing circumstances,
• have an understanding of the issues affecting Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander peoples, and/or have an ability to communicate sensitively and effectively with Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander peoples.

To be eligible for this role, you must be an Australian Citizen and hold a Baseline Security Clearance or have the ability to obtain one.
