Seeking expressions of interest for a Quality Assurance Officer

Chandler Macleod is supporting our client in South West Victoria, who has numerous opportunities across varying departments of their Australian, family owned business. Our client values production of the highest quality meat and proudly oversees every stage of meat processing. They stand out within the industry by owning their own farms, factories, and distribution networks, and emulate the paddock to plate movement.As a Quality Assurance Officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the food safety and compliance of outgoing processed meat products, as well as supporting the divisions QA function. You will be responsible for completing pre-dispatch hygiene and compliance checks, and monitoring checks in processing and packaging areas. Reporting of hazards and quality non-conformities will be documented in a timely manner within the necessary systems.Successful applicants would have:

• Experience within the meat or food processing industry (preferred)
• A degree or diploma in a food or science related field (desirable)
• Ability to work autonomously & a keen eye for detail
