Form of work About the RoleAs a Self-serve Checkout Supervisor at Harris Farm Market, you will be the face of the company, delivering exceptional customer service, while our customer's scan and self-pay for their groceries and fresh produce! We are seeking individuals with prior experience working in a self-service food retail environment.Oversee self-checkout units, ensuring complete customer satisfaction through prompt and friendly service.Assist customers as they scan, weigh, bag and pay for their own items, ensuring a smooth and seamless process.Serve multiple customers at once and anticipate issues before they occur.Answer questions, and assist with issues that arise (large items, scanning/weighing issues, payment issues, etc.).Monitor scanning activity of customers utilising the self-Serve Checkouts.Invite customers to use self-checkout lanes, especially if lines are forming at the checkouts.Maintain knowledge of weekly promotions instore; provide direction of product location throughout the store.Ensure that self-checkout areas are always maintained in a clean and orderly condition.
