What you'll be doing
As a Semi and Finished Goods Inspection Operator at Prysmian Group, reporting to the Final Test Engineer, you will contribute to the fulfilment of Prysmian's quality responsibilities by interpreting test manuals and understanding the construction of cables.
Key Responsibilities
Interpret Test Manuals & Test Instructions.
Check Journey card testing parameters.
Understand cable construction from Journey Card Description.
Check ground of cage connected to G/Y or Neutral of the cable.
Load and unload drums from test cage with forklift (Forklift License Required)
Close the test cage interlocks
Check the wiring carried to perform the High Voltage test.
Cross check the conductive wire which was used not touching any wood or steel drum.
Inject 3.5kV/5 min for LV-Power & Control cables,
Inject 2kV/5 min Instrumentation cables.
Understanding and conducting conductor resistance test
Select appropriate tools for Preparation of all Medium Voltage Cables (MV Cables-Mining and Non- Mining cables).
