We are currently looking for a Senior Account Executive to join our Team. The team specialize in the provision of insurance assisting with existing policy holders and new business opportunities.

As Senior Account Executive your primary focus is providing portfolio management across several medium to large corporate accounts, ensuring high quality customer service is always provided and set revenue and expense budgets are consistently attained. In addition to the end-to-end management for a set portfolio of clients, you will provide leadership to support staff.

Your role is to:

  • Maintain a small portfolio of client relationships in the North and South of Tasmania and is expected to meet personal goals while overseeing the performance of a small team of service support professionals and/or relationship management professionals on various degrees of account work.

  • Lead the service and/or professional teams on a portfolio of assignments by setting goals, monitoring progress, assuring service meets or exceeds internal and external expectations, and protecting the firm from Errors & Omissions

  • Develop and communicates a strong understanding of internal and external expectations for various colleagues and clients, leveraging an advanced understanding of Company services and solutions and transactional processes.

  • Coordinate communications between service team members and the clients and is accountable for overseeing deliverables and managing timeline expectations.

  • Work to identify expansion opportunities for personal and team relationships, to determine or assist with determining the services, products and combinations that will best proactively serve and address client needs and objectives for personal and team accounts.

  • Develops and oversees the development of custom solutions to address the needs of clients, effectively, presents the solution, and negotiates compensation, ensuring an effective result.

  • Monitor account work performed by direct reports and works to ensure any timeline or deliverable conflicts are appropriately escalated and addressed and that sales and retention numbers are meeting and exceeding internal expectations.

  • Attend industry events and conferences to build up a strong professional network, maintain proximity to the relevant market and represent the Company.

To be successful you will possess:

  • Full & valid driver’s license

  • Client Service – excellent delivery of technical, administrative and consulting support to internal and external clients

  • Change – awareness of environmental, financial, regulatory and social factors affecting company and clients’ operations.

  • Commercial Acumen - an in-depth understanding of factors impacting on the delivery of services by the Company,

  • Planning and Organisation – development and implementation of courses of action for self and others to ensure that work is completed efficiently and on time.

  • Drive & Self-Motivation - demonstrates a willingness to take on increased responsibilities and displays the ability to act independently.
