The Opportunity
Due to the firm’s continual growth a rare opportunity exists for a Senior Tax and Business services accountant to join their growing team. Your duties will include:
- Preparing financial statements and income tax returns for companies, partnerships, trusts and individuals
- Tax research and assisting with providing client advice including tax planning, tax minimization strategies etc.
- Servicing a range of clients from different industries including finance, manufacturing, hospitality and SMEs
- Performing complex tax work including Div.7a, FBT and CGT
- Ensuring jobs are completed effectively by meeting technical standards and deadlines
- At least 4-6 years’ experience as a public practice accountant
- Experience using MYOB AE and Xero
- Must be CA or CPA Qualified
- Must be a strong communicator with the ability to liaise with clients
- Experience using timesheets
