About the Role
The Administrator Officer is responsible for managing, maintaining, and providing high quality administrative services to support the wide work undertaken.
This role is responsible for a variety of administrative duties, continually providing the highest level of detail.
- Develop, monitor, and maintain appropriate administrative records utilising our databases.
- Provide general administration activities which require initiative, confidentiality, and sensitivity.
- Manage and maintain quality procedures, instructions and forms that comply with Safe Places record management library.
- Co-ordinate and administer data from HR system, external systems, the Learning Systems ensuring high level of data quality, ensuring compliance and effective co-ordination of data administration.
- Provide consistent and reliable preparation of detailed documents and apply accurate record keeping.
- As this is a new role, you will have the opportunity to collaborate across teams and services as well as undertake autonomous activity, ensuring you have a lot of ability to create high quality administrative outcomes.
- Positions available in our Organisational Development team as well as with our HR and WHS team.
About You
Our Administrative Officer will bring a genuine passion to make a difference in the lives of young people and our communities, holding certain attributes and demonstrated knowledge and experience.
Personal attributes will include:
- Cert IV (or higher) in Business Administration or related field.
- A preparedness to learn and adopt new technology, work practices, systems and procedures; underpinned by an ability to think outside the box.
- Demonstrated ability to work with MS Office applications and databases in either a LMS or a HR system.
- Ability to maintain equilibrium, make decisions, be flexible in responding to changing priorities, work unsupervised, accept responsibility and act on directives.
- Proven experience in efficient data entry as well as preparation and management of records and other documentation.
