The Organisational Development team at the Mackay Base Hospital is seeking applications for a Senior Advisor (Strategic Workforce Planning) to join their team on a temporary basis.

Your opportunity
This position collaborates with team members and the business in the contribution of development, promotion and implementation of Workforce Planning activities and initiatives.
About the Team
Our purpose is to lead system-wide workforce strategy through influencing and collaborating with others to enable a skilled and sustainable health workforce that responds to Queensland's unique challenges.
The Organisational Development team is responsible for leading and developing key processes to support the sustainability and capability of the health workforce. This includes leading Strategic Workforce Planning and policy development, and identifying and developing opportunities for clinical enhancements, extended scope, and optimising clinical education and training.
This team links closely with the wider Mackay Hospital and Health Service, Mackay Hospital and Health Boards and other strategic health workforce leads.

The district covers an area of approximately 90,000km2 and provides services to patients and their families in Bowen, Cannonvale, Clermont, Collinsville, Dysart, Glenden, Mackay, Middlemount, Moranbah, Proserpine and Sarina.
