Our Energy, Climate Change and Sustainability Group is currently seeking a dynamic Senior Policy Project Officer – Contracts to build our contract management capacity. Our programs deliver an incredible array of outcomes that support NSW’s journey to meeting our climate change targets, delivering the energy transition, adapting to our changing environment, and living sustainably. About The Role
This role sits in a new support function focused on building best-in-class contract management skills across the Group. You'll collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and partners to support development and implementation of frameworks that ensure efficient and effective contract management practices. The guides and processes you help design will build capabilities in this critical business area.
You will also provide operational and technical advice to programs to facilitate their management of complex contracts, as well as administering key high-profile contracts directly.
About You
You will be a specialist with excellent contract management knowledge, strong organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail. You will have a proven track record in effectively managing complex contracts, and a good understanding of the legal, finance, governance and probity requirements of the work. You have sound data and document management skills and ideally have government sector exposure to navigate its nuances effectively.
You will have demonstrable experience in project management and delivery, providing excellent customer service and supporting your clients to adapt to new ways of working. You have a passion for optimising processes. Your drafting abilities will ensure complex information is effectively communicated and your strong negotiation and interpersonal skills will help you build constructive relationships with stakeholders.
