The Role 

Efficiently and effectively manage the implementation of investment strategies and undertake daily cashflow management.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Oversee and make cashflow decisions for MLC Wealth’s investment assets (‘Funds’)
• Monitor the Funds asset and currency exposure to ensure adherence with investment strategy and rebalancing philosophy
• Implement investment strategy changes without error, which requires planning, assessment of implementation alternatives, modelling of investment decisions required to implement changes and executing the changes and managing downstream impacts
• Drive project-based assignments and research as required
• Deliver on investment product, system and process initiatives
• Perform minor required reporting

To Be Successful in This Role You Will Possess: 

• Tertiary – High achievement in a relevant academic field (e.g. finance, investment, actuarial, mathematics, econometrics)
• Demonstrate proven results and competency in a similar role
• Greater than 5 years of professional experience in a numerical discipline
• Advanced Excel skills
• Have a high level of analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good (written and verbal) communication - ability to tailor communications to suit the audience and communicates credibly and confidently
