The Role
Efficiently and effectively manage the implementation of investment strategies and undertake daily cashflow management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and make cashflow decisions for MLC Wealth’s investment assets (‘Funds’)
- Monitor the Funds asset and currency exposure to ensure adherence with investment strategy and rebalancing philosophy
- Implement investment strategy changes without error, which requires planning, assessment of implementation alternatives, modelling of investment decisions required to implement changes and executing the changes and managing downstream impacts
- Drive project-based assignments and research as required
- Deliver on investment product, system and process initiatives
- Perform minor required reporting
To Be Successful in This Role You Will Possess:
- Tertiary – High achievement in a relevant academic field (e.g. finance, investment, actuarial, mathematics, econometrics)
- Demonstrate proven results and competency in a similar role
- Greater than 5 years of professional experience in a numerical discipline
- Advanced Excel skills
- Have a high level of analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good (written and verbal) communication - ability to tailor communications to suit the audience and communicates credibly and confidently
