The Opportunity
Join us at QIC as a Manager in our Private Markets Risk team, covering a 12-month parental leave cover. You'll lead risk management initiatives across our Private Equity, Private Debt, Real Estate, and Infrastructure investment teams, safeguarding their investments and driving success.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic team shaping the future of Private Markets Risk management, while also making a difference and championing a strong risk culture within QIC.

Responsibilities

  • Take an active role in third party contract management for Luxembourg based products.
  • Review investment recommendations, including identifying associated risks. 
  • Monitor and advise on risks within Private Markets investment processes, including controls and process design. 
  • Oversee investment valuations across Private Markets teams in line with QIC’s policy.  
  • Provide oversight on breaches and incidents resolution and reporting.
  • Manage investment-related Conflicts of Interest. 
  • Monitor investment compliance with client mandates and ensure adherence to QIC Allocation Protocols. 
  • Contribution to QIC Limited Board reporting and ad hoc client requests.
  • Lead and mentor Analysts and Senior Analysts within the team. 
  • Collaborate with investment team members on reporting, policies, and risk escalation.

About You

  • Tertiary qualified in Business, Economics or Commerce (preferably with finance or accounting major).
  • Knowledge and experience in Private Markets, especially Private Equity or Infrastructure.
  • Ability to identify, analyse and proactively resolve problems.
  • Proficiency in analytical tools such as MS Excel, Power BI.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective stakeholder relationships.
