About the jobWe are seeking a Senior Planner specialising in Integrated Water Management to join the team. The role will be delivering our integrated planning within the IP&S team, working on ambitious water strategies, and turning them into investment outcomes.The Senior Planner will drive business improvement by challenging existing processes whilst providing deliverable outcomes.In addition, your responsibilities will include:In the role of the Senior Planner, responsibilities include developing and implementing integrated and adaptive planning frameworks for SA Water's infrastructure. The role will require you to identify and evaluate Integrated Water Management (IWM) opportunities, support capital delivery, and manage program budgets. The role includes providing technical advice, collaborating with stakeholders, and driving business improvement by challenging existing processes.You will:Develop and implement integrated and adaptive planning frameworks and processes for SA Water's infrastructure.Identify and evaluate opportunities for Integrated Water Management (IWM) and prepare implementation plans.Ensure asset planning incorporates internal and external operating environment analyses and strategic improvement initiatives.Apply decision-making tools and models to prioritize investments and optimise risk, performance, and life-cycle costs.Provide technical advice and guidance for solution design in collaboration with project stakeholders.Support the research and application of new and innovative technologies for infrastructure projects.Your success in this role will come from:A background in Science or Engineering is essential.Experience in investment planning for potable water, stormwater, wastewater, or recycled water is desirable.A demonstrated ability to build relationships and confidently provide advice to internal and external stakeholders to influence decision-making outcomes.Being proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel, with the ability to create documents and reports that effectively communicate information and achieve actionable recommendations.Further information can be found in the attached PD -To apply, click 'Apply'.
