Reporting to the Section Lead – Tunnel and Ground Engineering, as a Senior Associate Engineering Geologist, you will provide engineering geological skills and leadership on large D & C/tender type projects, design/project management, interpretation and design skills capability to our project team. The role includes managing Jacobs risk on large transport/infrastructure works by supporting the geological delivery on D & C’s/tenders.

The role includes proposal development, large site investigation scoping, mentoring junior staff, report production and undertaking complex geotechnical/geological problems and project management. #LI-AP1 #APMETransport #ANZTransport #NZSEASP

Qualifications

  • Appropriate qualifications in the relevant Engineering field
  • Proven experience in various areas of Engineering Geology.
  • Experience in planning, coordination and supervision of investigations and technical reporting.
  • Knowledge in preparing designs and deliverables for transport & general infrastructure projects.
  • Working collaboratively with other members of the Ground Engineering and Transport engineering sections, as well as members of Buildings, Water, Power and Consulting sections; providing inputs to project works and tender bids.
