My client is a leading Financial Services organisation and they are looking for a Senior Audit Manager to come on board.
This role sits specifically in the Business team (commercial and small business customer Groups) typical exposure to less than $50mn.
Duties
- Assist the EM in the design and execution of the internal audit program - covering corporate, commercial and small business Credit Risk management policies and processes
- Lead small teams to deliver effective and efficient assurance.
- Engage with relevant senior management to raise awareness of weaknesses around Credit Risk management and assist in development of responses.
- Prepare written reports – including opinions on effectiveness of risk management practices.
- No direct reports.
Skills / experience
- 10 yrs. experience with Financial Services background.
- Deep knowledge of Credit Risk management practices for commercial and corporate borrowers and experience as a senior credit officer
- This role typically suits people who have been in Credit Risk (Senior Manager posts and above) / Bankers / Underwriters or Credit restructure backgrounds.
- The successful person must be agile and be able to get involved in an array of areas in which they may have little experience.
