SUMMARY
The Senior Test Engineers will deliver Testing Services and Test Releases.
This would include but not limited to working within a multidisciplinary team of Business Analysts, Program Architects, Project and Program Managers and Business Stakeholders.
A key focus area for this role will be to design Test strategy, Test Cases and perform Test Execution across the Test Levels.
This role also demands extensive experience automation testing to reduce Test Execution duration and repeat release testing across multiple Test Cycles & Releases.
Experience with Testing in large scale Transformation Projects with expertise in both Waterfall and Agile methodology will be highly advantageous
Full Requirements – Responsibilities The role will:
- Contribute to the test capability uplift through active participation in strategic and tactical test initiative planning and implementation.
- Ensure quality improvements and requirements needs are included in feature / story acceptance criteria.
- Work with other testers and stakeholders to plan and execute test cases and raise corresponding defects during various testing phases.
- Drive an automation-first progression approach for System Test and SIT (System Integration Testing) under both Agile and Waterfall delivery model.
- Driving continuous improvement in software quality including automated testing coverage towards 100%.
- Review all phases of unit, Business, and other QA to ensure testing coverage with requirement traceability in collaboration with Project Team(s).
- 8+ years in Testing.
- Experience in complex, mission critical, large-scale programs of work.
- Experience in Test landscapes that include many integrated systems, various stakeholders, and multiple vendor teams.
- Experience in designing and implementing automation test frameworks using Cucumber, BrowserStack, Selenium, Rest API, JAVA, JavaScript, Groovy and Python.
- Experience with Continuous Integration /Continuous Development, Test Driven Development and Business Driven Development using DevOps tools such as GitLab and Jenkins.
- Good understanding of operating systems Windows, Linux, AWS and setting up workstations with various software tools using command line interfaces (such as curl, yum etc.)
- Experience in automating data requirements using programming languages such as JAVA and Python.
- Experience in mimicking applications in lower environments using stubs and mock servers (CA Lisa, Fast APIs, Postman etc.)
- Experience in all forms of testing including system, functional, regression, progression, end-to-end testing.
- Good knowledge of testing websites, interfaces, databases, and APIs.
- Experience with integrated with Test Management tools and their workflows for test and defect management such as JIRA and Microfocus ALM.
- Strong verbal communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills. Experience with running workshops and live defects triage calls to help resolve the defects as early as possible.
