Servicing the Rockhampton, Mackay, Bundaberg and Central Highlands regions, they specialise in the delivery of quality social services including aged care, disability care, counselling, psychology, family relationship support and mediation, domestic and family violence response, and domestic violence court support. CatholicCare CQ are now seeking an experienced Senior Behaviour Change Facilitator to lead the development, implementation and facilitation of relevant Perpetrator Intervention Programs alongside a Facilitator.
About the role
As the Senior Behaviour Change Facilitator, you will report to the Domestic & Family Violence Team Leader and be supported by a Behaviour Change Facilitator. You will be responsible for conducting intakes, developing safety plans, developing and facilitating sessions and reporting on key metrics for the business in accordance with Government requirements. Specifically, you will:
- Provide counselling services to perpetrators of Domestic and Family Violence;
- Partner with key community stakeholders to develop strong relationships and providing referrals where required;
- Lead the development and implementation of psycho-educational programs that focusses on those affected by domestic and family violence; and
- Lead the design and delivery of the Men's Behaviour Change Program in conjunction with the Behaviour Change Facilitator.
As CatholicCare CQ are responsible for a large geographic region, there will be a travel component included in this position.
About you
To be successful in this role you must have strong interpersonal skills, administration and organisational skills, proven experience in a similar position and strong knowledge of legislative requirements related to Domestic and Family Violence. You must have the necessary experience and qualifications in line with the Perpetrator Intervention Specifications Requirements (Senior Facilitator) and the Human Standards Quality Framework (HSQF). Candidates that do not meet these requirements will not be considered.
