About North East LinkThe Spark Consortium has been selected for the Central Package of the North East Link Project - Victoria's biggest road project.The Spark Consortium's Design and Construction Contractor - which comprises Webuild, CPB Contractors, GS Engineering & Construction and China Construction Oceania - will deliver the twin three-lane tunnels and key interchanges for the project.The Central Package will be delivered as a Public Private Partnership and provides three-lane twin tunnels that will close the missing link in Melbourne's freeway network from the M80 Ring Road to an upgraded Eastern Freeway, reducing journey times and diverting heavy vehicles away from local roads. Up to 135,000 vehicles will use North East Link every day, reducing congestion in the north-east while maintaining local roads.About the Opportunity:We have an opportunity for a Senior Blue Collar Recruitment Advisor to join our People team on a 12-Month Maternity leave contract. With the support of 2 Recruitment Coordinators, the role will be responsible for the resource planning, sourcing, selection and mobilisation of all the projects Workforce employees. The role is also responsible for the recruitment of Supervisory staff roles project-wide.This role will be accountable for:

  • Recruitment of Tunnel based crews and Maintenance teams
  • Work with Hiring Managers to coordinate and manage sourcing and selection of vacancies to meet agreed time frames
  • Leading a team of 2 Recruitment Coordinators, responsible for the onboarding and mobilisation of all Workforce employees
  • Lead development and implementation of resourcing strategy to meet agreed resourcing outcomes for Workforce Recruitment
  • Support social procurement and inclusion initiatives
  • Lead continuous improvement of the resourcing function through resourcing initiatives
  • Lead talent attraction initiatives and campaigns in line with resourcing policy and processes.
  • Deliver timely expert advice on resourcing related issues
  • Prepare reporting on resourcing and workforce planning progress
About you:
  • Previous experience within an inhouse recruitment or HR team, preferably in the Blue Collar or major project space
  • Understanding of Industrial Instruments
  • Experience with White Collar recruitment is highly advantageous
  • A keen eye for detail and ability to multitask
  • A people person with strong communication skills.
  • Previous Pageup experience preferred but not essential
