The Role: We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst with a strong background in e-commerce to play a crucial role in the development of our new online store. The ideal candidate will have the tenacity and skill to identify and understand complex business requirements, build detailed technical specifications, and track down and clarify processes in a landscape where documentation may be lacking.

Key Responsibilities:

• Engage with stakeholders across the business to gather and define business requirements for the new e-commerce platform.
• Translate business needs into detailed technical specifications for both the in-house and external development teams.
• Conduct in-depth analysis to understand current processes, identifying gaps and opportunities for improvement in the new e-commerce solution.
• Serve as a liaison between business users and technical teams, ensuring clear communication and alignment on project goals and deliverables.
• Proactively identify risks and issues, proposing effective solutions to ensure project success.
• Manage project documentation, ensuring all specifications, requirements, and project artifacts are accurately maintained and accessible.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst within the e-commerce sector.
• Strong understanding of e-commerce platforms, technologies, and best practices.
• Ability to handle complex analysis and generate detailed technical specifications.
• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both technical teams and business stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in fast-paced, chaotic environments.
• Strong problem-solving skills and tenacity in tracking down information.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, or a related field.
