We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Analyst with extensive technical expertise in infrastructure security, particularly in the realm of Agile methodologies and Cyber concepts.
The successful candidate will play a crucial role in enhancing the security posture of the University by focusing on network segmentation for one of its key initiatives.

THE ROLE:
The successful candidate will play a crucial role in enhancing the security posture of our university by focusing on network segmentation as a principal component. If you are passionate about leveraging your analytical skills to safeguard critical assets and drive continuous improvement in security measures, this role offers an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to analyse existing infrastructure security measures and identify areas for improvement.
- Lead the development and implementation of strategies for network segmentation, ensuring alignment with Agile principles and Cybersecurity best practices.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of security risks and vulnerabilities, providing insights and recommendations to mitigate potential threats.
- Act as a subject matter expert on infrastructure security, offering guidance and support to stakeholders across the organization.
- Drive the adoption of proactive measures to enhance the University's security posture, including the implementation of robust access controls and security protocols.
- Facilitate communication between technical and non-technical teams to ensure a cohesive approach to security initiatives.
- Stay abreast of emerging trends and technologies in infrastructure security, incorporating relevant advancements into the University's security strategy.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, with a focus on infrastructure security.
- Demonstrated expertise in Agile methodologies and Cybersecurity concepts.
- Proven track record of leading successful initiatives related to network segmentation and infrastructure security.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess complex security challenges and develop effective solutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact confidently with stakeholders at all levels.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CCSP are highly desirable.
- Experience in the education sector or similar complex organizational environments is a plus.
- In-depth knowledge of network security principles, protocols, and technologies, with hands-on experience deploying solutions such asAruba ClearPass would be highly regarded.
