Provide expertise and leadership to multidisciplinary project teams to support strategic transformation projects across the University. 

About the Position
The SDX project will leverage numerous industry-leading solutions including Technology One student management system to replace our current core student administration systems with a new integrated, user friendly, mobile-enabled platform.  

As theSenior Business Analyst, you will provide expertise and leadership to multidisciplinary project teams to support strategic transformation projects across the university’s Enterprise and Business Architectures to deliver scalable, accessible, and appropriate systems environments in alignment with business objectives.

About You
To be successful, you will require:

  • Demonstrated experience as a Senior Business Analyst, this means, leading or overseeing a number of more junior analysts, and/or, leading or overseeing large scale or complex business or project problems, deliverables and/or initiatives.
  • Demonstrated ability to gather and synthesise business requirements.
  • Demonstrated ability to model data, user stories and processes, experience in implementing process change and producing supporting documentation.
  • Ability to present business cases and recommendations clearly and concisely to senior management, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to analyse, define and present problem statements and recommendations clearly and concisely to management and team members, both verbal and written.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to gain consensus across various stakeholders within an organisation
  • Strong analytical skills and evidence-based decision making
  • Experience on SaaS implementation projects will be highly regarded.
  • Experience in the VET or Higher Education industry within Australia is not mandatory but will be highly regarded.

Remuneration 
Appointment to this role will be at (Classification). The base salary will be in the range of $119,610 to $140,256 per annum. The total remuneration package will be in the range of $139,943 - $164,099 per annum, including 17% superannuation.
