AddressUST is currently seeking a passionate and experienced Senior Business Analyst to join in Melbourne.
About the role:
The Senior Business Analyst’s role will focus on supporting the project coordination and business Acquisition Projectability delivery of the Centralised Application Processing project.
Responsible for liaising with business, technical and product owners to form an end-to-end Acquisition Project that delivers on the project objectives, scope and ROI.
In this role you will:
- Has proven hands-on experience and expertise in business analysis work
- Has the ability to understand the objectives and goals of Acquisition Project and develop and own the connected business Acquisition Projectability solution for Acquisition Project
- Has the ability to breakdown the BA Scope of Work into manageable work packages to support the overall delivery of the plan
- Closely work with Acquisition Project Lead to create and facilitate Acquisition Project workshops and deliver cross- Acquisition Project artefacts
- Perform gap analysis and document the As-Is and To-Be states
- Articulates product iterations and success criteria using Agile methodologies
- Supports the product teams to implement and deliver the right solutions
- Has strong relationships with key decision makers and Subject Matter Experts across organisation
- Detail Oriented and Acquisition Projectable of delivering a high level of accuracy
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Scope and document requirements: Ability to understand, Acquisition Projectture and model functional, non-functional (operational) and interface requirements for users of a system.
- Designing and enhancing Business Processes: Ability to create maps (or models) of workflows, services design and customer journeys for the business, organisation, system or software. Documenting behaviour models using use cases, user experience design, storyboards, user profiles and user stories.
- Solution assessment and validation: Ability to undertake quality initiatives and measure them with the right metrics. Be able to develop meaningful key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Testing: exposure to undertaking UAT (user acceptance testing) on behalf of the business not IT.
- Training & Communications: Work with Acquisition Project Manager, learning and comms team where required and provide relevant documentation.
- Digital Acquisition Projectability: Having had experience in, or Acquisition Projectability to, enable customer experiences through the use of digital technologies through placing the customer at the centre of everything we do.
- Clearly articulates decisions required and options available to facilitate rapid decision making
Project Co-ordination Support:
- Supporting and enabling the Associate Director Operational Effectiveness to have a coordinated program of work to ensure the successful delivery of Acquisition Project.
- Provide steering committee updates and activities that are enabling the end to end Acquisition Project business solution to be operationalised
- Helping to create, track and monitor project milestones of delivery
- Acting in the role of scrum master to facilitate the daily and weekly team cadence in support for the Acquisition Project business owner.

- Collaboration & Facilitation: Ability to setup relationships and negotiate with people; facilitate engagement across multiple groups of people within and outside the organisation and at various levels.
- Strong Written and Oral communication skills
- Actively contributes and responds to discussion at retrospectives
