About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Business Analyst with a Product Ownership mindset to provide engagement and analysis for discoveries, initiatives and programs that have a direct, visible impact on our world class research community. The Senior Business Analyst/Product Owner will be responsible for the ownership of a product group within the Research Domain's new product-focused approach. The role involves collaborating with stakeholders to define product vision, prioritise backlog items, and support the implementation of high-quality deliverables and products.
Your responsibilities will include:
Foster relationships with stakeholders to provide effective business analysis services for project delivery
Apply appropriate analysis techniques across projects, ensuring efficient and effective delivery of analysis tasks
Define product vision, strategy, and roadmap, continuously refining and prioritizing product backlog
Collaborate with stakeholders, resolve issues, and drive adoption of Agile practices to support project delivery and capability uplift
Who we are looking forYou will have relevant experience in agile delivery and strong interpersonal skills to engage with senior stakeholders. You demonstrate leadership in Business Analysis, mentoring teams for efficient delivery in agile and hybrid approaches, and show proficiency in planning and problem-solving with an innovative mindset.
You will also have:
The appointee will have a relevant postgraduate qualification with significant relevant Business Analysis experience OR an equivalent combination of relevant experience and education/training
Significant experience in Senior Business Analysis roles in large and complex organisations, undertaking discovery and business requirements analysis and specification with a proven ability to deliver complex user specifications and/or detailed business, functional and non-functional requirements in agile, hybrid and traditional delivery approaches
Product Ownership experience in past roles and the proven ability to develop, maintain and manage product backlogs and working with diverse stakeholders to grow and prioritise the backlog
