Iconic Perth Higher education provider looking for a Senior Business Systems Analyst to work on ongoing Enterprise Wide systems initiatives.
Our client is an iconic Higher Education provider looking for a Senior Business Analyst for their 2024 BAU initiatives. You will be joining a team of mature professionals who are not clock watchers but expect good Business Analysis for ENTERPRISE-WIDE SYSTEMS, with skillsets required in relational databases and SQL with good stakeholder engagement outcomes.
The perfect candidate will have experience as a Senior Business Analysis, ideally student systems, SQL/ Data manipulation and strong stakeholder engagement skills in the Higher education sector but we are open to hearing from you if the industry experience you have is for a non-higher education provider. - 7.5 hours per day and 37.5 hours per week.
- Perth CBD locations (WFH must be requested as per client's requirements) On-Site and remote work as required by our client.
- Perth based candidates only, please. This role requires the candidate to be in the office as directed by our client. NO FULL REMOTE WORK ALLOWED.
- Permanent full-time appointment on an ongoing basis role salary level is HWE 6 to 8
- The below salary scales are applicable for this role based on experience:
- Level 6 $87,460 - $92,430 p.a. (pro-rata) plus 17% superannuation
- Level 7 $95,737 - $106,223 p.a. (pro-rata) plus 17% superannuation
- Level 8 $106,775 - $116,709 p.a. (pro-rata) plus 17% superannuation
Key Responsibilities and capabilities
- Relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent competency.
- Relevant experience in a Business or Systems Analyst role or a role requiring business analysis or process improvement in large and complex organisations.
- Experience with business and technical requirements analysis, elicitation, modelling, testing and verification.
- Experience in establishing testing strategies and plans, business cases and investments options modelling at an appropriate level.
- Understanding of business analysis practice in both agile and plan-driven projects.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to build positive stakeholder relationships.
- Relevant experience working in an agile environment.
- Working knowledge of the Higher Education sector is desirable.
- Knowledge of business process engineering methods is desirable.
- ITIL certification is desirable.
- Highly developed organisational skills and demonstrated ability to set priorities and to meet deadlines.
Some after hours and weekend work may be required, and provision of a Current National Police Clearance will be required for the successful applicant.
