About the role
We're seeking a Senior Software Engineer with relevant experience to join the Data Science Team in Sydney. The role is primarily focused on the development of RF - AI projects.
Responsibilities, Duties and Expectations

• Design, develop and deploy software with focus on high availability, low latency, and scalability 
• Architect software modules for embedded microservices 
• Support ML/AI engineers in productionising inference pipelines 
• Build and maintain infrastructure toolsets and deployment pipelines 
• Collaborate closely with other engineers and become a valued member of an autonomous, cross-functional team 
• Assist the software/hardware development teams to make informed decisions about the future direction of complex deployed system design

Qualifications, Experience and Skills 

• BS degree in Computer Science, Mathematics or similar technical field of study or equivalent practical experience 
• Minimum 5 years of Software Engineering experience 
• Proficiency in Python and knowledge of C++ 
• Test Driven Development (TDD) attitude 
• Familiarity with Linux and containerisation 
• Experience developing software to support Data Science workflows is highly favourable 
• Experience with real-time or embedded software systems is favourable
• Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team, communicating effectively with engineers from non-software / data science backgrounds
