TbuilT is a high volume cabinet maker based in Brisbane. We deliver premium joinery products for our clients, Tier 1 and 2 builders.
The Role
Due to growth, we are seeking a Senior Cabinet Vision Draftsperson to work 1-2 days per week remote /work from home. PAYG or ABN. This position is starting immediately.
Responsibilities will include:
- A comprehensive working understanding of Cabinet Vision, with an ability to draft detailed cabinets
- Interpret architectural drawings and drafting in Cabinet Vision to the required specifications
- Send jobs to CNC machines and understanding S2M requirements
- Manage the nesting of projects to aid in automation and efficiency of the factory
- Perform material take-offs that identifies all items required across the project
- Manage all steps, troubleshoot issues, to prepare and optimise joinery parts
- Produce detailed shop and assembly drawings for reference by staff in the factory
- Communicate with the Factory Manager and Project Managers regarding job priorities
Skills needed include:
- Cabinet Vision demonstrated high level experience
- Have a minimum of 10 years’ experience drafting in the residential cabinet-making industry
- Ability to read and follow technical drawings and diagrammed instructions
- Proficient in the use of S2M software and other computer programs
- Be a good team player, communicate and work well with others
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work unsupervised
- Adhere to and strive for high quality standards
