Qualifications & experience
- Trade certifications or relevant qualifications in carpentry
Tasks & responsibilities
- proven experience as a Carpenter - 1st and 2nd fix work as well as construction related tasks. These may include plasterboard install, preparation of footings, any concrete work depending on your skill set
- working on bespoke homes and renovations and as such, you should be able to interpret construction drawings, specifications so that quality and accurate carpentry occurs
- oversee daily operations and compliance with health and safety guidelines
- Work with the Directors and carpenters to achieve timelines and budgets
- Solid understanding of building codes, especially AS1684
- Excellent communication skills and thought regarding material management and timelines
- Assist junior staff / apprentices with their development
