About the Role
We are looking for an innovative and engaging Senior Process Engineer to join our team at our Kemerton Processing Plant in Bunbury on a permanent basis.
The Process Engineer is an integral part of the Production team and is responsible for providing daily technical support and short-term technical improvements that support the operations of the site.
Reporting to the Operations Manager, your key responsibilities will include:
- Analysis of process and consumable efficiencies including optimisation
- Supporting the Production Manager with technical analysis, trouble-shooting, monitoring and process/ product efficiency
- Production, processes, metallurgical accounting
- Support and management of production data and databases
- Identifying anomalies within the process control instrumentation
- Supporting graduate Process Engineers to develop their skills
- Communicating and engaging with stakeholders
- Delivering on Process Engineering related minor projects.
- Confident in managing production data and databases
- Championing process safety within the business.
- Attending to on-call requests for the plant
To be successful in your application, you will ideally possess:
- Bachelors Degree in Chemical / Chemistry/Process Engineering or another relevant discipline;
- 5 years post graduate experience in Process Engineering, ideally gained within a similarly complex fixed plant environment
- Strong working knowledge of Australian standards
- Collaborative with excellent stakeholder engagement skills
- Proven track record of successfully leading process improvement projects
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
