Join our Darwin design team as a Senior Civil Engineer, where you will assume a pivotal role in managing projects from conception to fruition. Your responsibilities will encompass managing both client and internal team design works. Key Requirements:
Properties: Expertise in pavements, drainage, roads, car parks, intersections, and earthworks.
Subdivisions: Proficiency in drainage, roads, WSUD (Water Sensitive Urban Design), stormwater management, and earthworks.
Roads: In-depth knowledge of highways, intersections, drainage, roundabouts, and traffic linemarking / signage.
Client and Stakeholder Engagement: Demonstrated experience in effectively engaging with clients and stakeholders.
Design Process: Understanding of the design process, ability to coordinate work with other design disciplines, and efficient project management to meet budget, program, and quality constraints.
Project/Team Management: Proven experience in running projects and managing teams.
Design Skills: High-level design skills with a strong knowledge of Austroads Guidelines, NT road & subdivision Design Guidelines and ARR Guidelines.
Software: DRAINS, MUSIC, 12D, AutoCAD, Bluebeam experience preferred
Versatility: Experience in a variety of projects across different disciplines, with extensive expertise in a specific discipline.
Decision Making: Ability to identify issues, problems, and opportunities, and make appropriate decisions.
Work Standards: Maintain high work standards, minimise errors, and pay meticulous attention to detail.
