The Allied Health inaptient Podiatry services has a strong focus on patients with diabetes and complex limb threatening complications. which includies the High Risk Foot Clinic. The Podaitry Department is well embeded in the NADC High Risk Foot Service Centre of Excellence a collaboration opportunity for clinical education and outstanding care with Endocrinology, Vascular, Orthopaedics and Infectious Disease units.

About the Role

We are excited to announce a new Grade 3 Senior Clinician (Clinical Education) position has been developed within our Podiatry Department. You will be joining a well established high risk foot service and be a valuable member of the podiatry profession that provides clinical services across the continuum of care.

This is an ongoing, full time position, working across all campuses within the organisation as required.

About You

As the successful candidate(s) you will be responsible for providing outstanding clinical care and building the clinical skills through education principles, building collaborative relationships and tranlating current evidence into clinical care.

The successful applicatant will provide orientation, upskilling and on-the-job support for the Podiatry clinicians. This role will support the delivery of safe and effective care, this will involve collaboration with key stakeholders across Monash Health. The successful applicaitant will assist in identify workforce development learning needs to meet the current and future needs of our client population. The successful applicant will work closely with the Allied Health WISER unit, contributing to the clinical education team.

This role will require the candidate to have knowledge and experience in the area high risk foot. The incumbent will be required to work across all campuses of Monash Health providing education to the junior podiatrists and provide clinical services as required.

What You Need:
Bachelor of Podiatry (or equivalent under graduate qualification)

Endorsement for Schedulded Medicines or working towards

Current AHPRA registration with no restrictions or conditions

Australian working rights
