Senior Construction Planner

Our client who are one of Australia’s leading construction companies are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Construction Planner to join our dynamic team, playing a pivotal role in shaping the future of healthcare infrastructure across Queensland.The Opportunity
In this exciting role, you'll be instrumental in the successful delivery of three major health building projects across Queensland. You'll work collaboratively with a diverse team, split between our Brisbane office and project sites, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and monitor detailed construction schedules using industry-leading planning software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project).
• Proactively identify and manage project risks and opportunities for improvement.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
• Monitor project progress, identify and address any deviations from the schedule, and implement corrective actions.
• Prepare and maintain comprehensive reports for project management and client communication.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of effective construction methodologies.

You'll Be Successful If You Have:

• Minimum 7-10 years' experience in construction planning within a similar role.
• Proven ability to develop and manage complex construction schedules.
• Strong understanding of construction methodologies, sequencing, and risk management principles.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in planning software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project).
• A valid driver's license and willingness to travel between the Brisbane office and project sites.
• Previosu experience as a Construction Planner with a Toier 1 builder
• Previous health experience would add strength to your application
