Our client is seeking a talented Senior Consultant to join their Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) Advisory team. In this role, the Senior Consultant will work closely with senior leadership to provide strategic advice and execution support on a range of M&A transactions. From conducting comprehensive financial analysis and due diligence to assisting in negotiations and drafting transaction documents, the Senior Consultant will play a pivotal role in delivering tailored solutions to clients globally.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct in-depth financial analysis and due diligence on target companies, leveraging the company's unparalleled real-time knowledge of markets and established relationships. Assist in the preparation of comprehensive financial models and valuation assessments, tailored to each transaction's unique requirements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop tailored transaction strategies and deal structures, considering the best opportunities for acquisitions, disposals, or strategic partnerships. Participate in negotiations and contribute to drafting bespoke transaction documents, ensuring alignment with client objectives and market conditions. Provide strategic insights and recommendations based on thorough analysis and understanding of client needs, tailoring strategies and timing for optimal results. Mentor junior team members, sharing expertise in financial analysis techniques and guiding them in executing their responsibilities effectively. Prepare and deliver presentations to clients and internal stakeholders, effectively communicating key findings and recommendations to drive informed decision-making. Stay updated on market trends and developments, leveraging the company's global presence to provide clients with informed guidance on industry dynamics. Manage client relationships and act as a trusted advisor throughout the transaction lifecycle, investing time in understanding client needs and maintaining long-term relationships. Contribute to business development efforts by preparing proposals, engaging with clients, and identifying opportunities for growth. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies throughout the transaction process, maintaining the company's reputation as a trusted advisor. Collaborate with sector specialists to leverage industry expertise and provide clients with tailored solutions that address their unique challenges and opportunities. Utilize the company's strong coverage of both public and private equity markets to present the best opportunities to clients across industries and geographies. Assist in managing deal processes and timelines, ensuring seamless execution of transactions and delivering results that exceed client expectations. Demonstrate a commitment to excellence and continuous improvement, contributing to the company's reputation as the world's advisor in M&A and strategic advice.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or CFA preferred Minimum of 5 years of experience in investment banking, corporate finance, or M&A advisory Strong financial modeling skills and proficiency in Excel Excellent analytical capabilities and attention to detail Effective communication and presentation skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
