Senior Consultant - Microsoft Teams - Unified Communications

Job Title:  Senior Consultant -  Microsoft Teams - Voice Migration Expertise (Unified Communication Expert)

• Must be an Australian Citizen.
• This role requires a mandatory NV1 or NV2 security clearance. 
• The role is based Anywhere in Australia.

Job Summary:

As a Senior Unified Communications Consultant, you will design and transform legacy UC environments like Cisco to Microsoft Teams Voice. You will lead Teams Voice transformation projects, conduct design workshops, create high-level and low-level design documents, plan site migrations, and migrate users from legacy telephony environments to Teams Voice using Direct Routing and Operator Connect.

Expertise Required:

• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Teams voice migration from Cisco and Avaya to Teams.
• Experience with gateway configuration and Session Border Controller (SBC) implementation.
• Strong understanding of UC transformation best practices and industry standards.

You will deliver value by:

Deep expertise and knowledge in the following:

• Microsoft Teams, Voice, Collab, and Teams Room Systems
• Proficiency in one or more Microsoft 365 workloads like Microsoft Entra ID, Messaging, SharePoint
• Experience in Teams Voice transformation projects with conducting design workshops, creating High-Level and Low-Level design documents, Site Migration Planning, and the migration of users from legacy telephony environment to Teams Voice with Direct Routing and Operator Connect.
• Telephony concepts such as signaling, codecs, dial plans, phone number manipulation, call routing, and legacy IP / TDM telephony.
• Experience in configuring Teams certified Voice Gateways, SBCs and Analogue Devices, Teams Phones, and peripherals.

• Experience in three or more of the following:
  • Collaboration, Security, and Governance
  • Zoom Meetings
  • Zoom Phone
  • Microsoft SharePoint
  • Microsoft Power BI
  • Microsoft Power Automate
  • Standards-based Video Conferencing, interoperability and supporting infrastructure.
  • Adoption and change management.
• Ten+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Unified Communications
• Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert
• Experience working with global multi-national enterprises.
