Asea360 Consolidation, an Australian owned Freight Forwarding NVOCC Consolidator, invites applications for an experienced Customer Service Specialist to join our team. We are offering a full-time or part-time position based at our Tullamarine head office with potential flexible working arrangements also on offer.
Ideal for candidates well-versed in import/Customer Service operations, this role offers the chance to collaborate with a diverse array of agents and clients, enriching your expertise.
Duties & Responsibilities include, but not limited to;
- Accurately process and register client orders promptly.
- Provide timely status updates to clients, coordinating with overseas agents for seamless order movements.
- Monitor order progression to ensure timeliness.
- Generate and maintain client reports as needed.
- Manage shipping documentation in line with Asea360 SOPs.
- Liaise with overseas agents/offices for order coordination.
- Provide quotes to clients and network agents.
- Cultivate positive relationships with stakeholders and clientele.
- Collaborate with global partners to ensure shipment milestones.
- Optimize processes and improve customer experience through internal collaboration.
- Understand clients' logistics requirements to offer tailored solutions.
- Resolve customer issues promptly and professionally.
- Communicate effectively with Senior Management to ensure customer satisfaction.
To be considered for this role, you will possess the following;
- Must have +3 years freight forwarding Customer Service experience in a similar role
- FAK experience would be an advantage
- Proficiency in using Cargowise and/or similar freight management software
- Customer Service Focused : committed to providing exceptional Customer Service across all channels – written, phone and face to face
- Communication: Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively and professionally with customers, colleagues, and other stakeholders
- Proactive communication skills
- Attention to detail: Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy

- Sound knowledge of the freight industry
